It’s been a week and 2 days since I started Jamie Eason’s LiveFit plan. I gave myself a vow to not really focus too much on my appearance for the first 4 weeks since there is no cardio (only to focus on building muscle), so I didn’t really spend any time looking in the mirror or anything….
I LOVED LiveFit! In fact, I’m sitting here in my gym clothes,
procrastinating, about to go finish the last 3 workouts before the year’s out.
As for the nutrition part of it, I didn’t follow it and I think I would’ve seen better results if I would have. I have special dietary concerns, though, so not sure if I could have. I think it’s more about cutting unnecessary and unhealthy carbs to get the kind of results that lifters get. Also, if you feel bloated, maybe try more plant-based sources of protein. There’s all kinds of resources out there for vegan bodybuilders (I’ve found some great content on places like veganbodybuilding.com and even bodybuilding.com, but they’re so horribly designed, be prepared to sift through the site.)
Either way, I feel so much stronger and leaner. I hope you consider sticking with it—the lifting part, at least! Good luck!
